Bobcats Chronicles

How a young NBA franchise gets it going

Why they hope for the best

Posted by Sup on January 23, 2010

Alexis Ajinca has been a major disappointment, we know that. But the reason why they Bobcats still cling to hope that he can be effective in the league if he gains strength and gets a clue about how hard he needs to work was on display last night. In the Maine Red Claws loss, Ajinca went for a triple double: 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 blocks. When this season started, Ajinca was given every opportunity to be the backup 4 the team desperately needs. He failed, and was sent to the D-League to get playing time and work on building up muscle.Performances like last night are few and far between, but you can see why they cling to hope.

Thanks to Ridiculous Upside for the update.
